The 411 & Kickstarter Project

With the holidays fast approaching and pies to be baked...cookies tins to be filled and client gift bags to be made we thought we would share out latest update before times gets away from us.

First off, things are going well for us at the studio.  We are getting calls, inquiries and best of all BOOKINGS!  We have sat down and are really worked hard to put together a strong marketing plan for 2011.  Looking at  how to stand out from other photographers in our area while providing quality service with great pricing.  We had a great time shooting a local elementary schools Halloween Bash as well as many fall family sessions.

The one advantage is that we do not offer the standard traditional sessions that you can get at Olan Mills or Sears.  We also have a couple of areas that we prefer to stay away from and refer you to a fellow photographer that handles this type of work.  For instance weddings and commercial print work.  We love attending weddings, just not shooting them.  We are also willing to pass a client on if we cannot accommodate their request or schedule.  The photographers that we network with we feel are upfront and honest.  I am more worried about the clients needs then the photographer stealing business.  We work with photographers that have high standards and strong values.

One exciting side note, we are working hard to be able to offer in the new year is a creative studio project.  The project is going to take a lot of work, marketing, networking and dedication.  We hope to have it funded through Kickstarter.com.  We are currently in the approval process and if approved we will start campaigning for funding right away.  Not to give to much of the idea away right now, what we can say that if we are successful this would be a huge self-confidence, positive attitude and personal inner growth builder for those that need it most.  Networking will be key and support will be important to the projects success.

So, that is the latest 411 on {SAPP}.  With everything that has been happening with the studio and in our personal life...we are so thankful for our clients, friends and most importantly, our family.
